Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Tai Chi Youth Charitable Foundation and Kai Tak Sports Initiative (KTSI), and sponsored by HSBC, the “Martial Arts Space 2026: The 6th Greater Bay Area Martial Arts Scholar Championship” will be grandly held on August 1 and 2 at Kai Tak Sports Park. Integrating martial arts competition, wellness experiences, and cultural exchange, the event is dedicated to promoting the development of a “Cultural Bay Area” and a “Healthy Bay Area” creating a martial arts celebration that combines heritage, innovation, and vitality.
Embracing the theme Achieve Balance in Martial Arts, Culture and Wellness, Martial Arts Space 2026 presents a lineup of pre-event workshops blending martial arts with cultural crafts. Led by professional instructors, these beginner-friendly sessions welcome participants aged 5 to 75, with families and parent-child pairs warmly invited. No prior experience is needed.
Each workshop is structured as one hour of martial arts practice paired with one hour of hands-on art creation. Combining dynamic movement with quiet craft work, the programme nurtures physical health and inner calm. This workshop is ideal for a relaxing weekend retreat to unwind and stretch. Please note that all workshops will be conducted in Cantonese.
