Introduction of Kai Tak Sports Initiative
Kai Tak Sports Initiative (KTSI) is a community sports project under Kai Tak Sports Park. We are devoted to promoting the ethos of “Sport for All” and advancing the physical and mental health of the Hong Kong community through organizing a variety of sports-related activities. Our diverse programmes are open to people from all walks of life.
KTSI has been working with over 100 partners, including National Sports Associations, sports associations, athletes, NGOs, and schools, to launch 150+ community sports programmes, attracting as many as 120,000 participants since its establishment. The team has reached 64 primary and secondary schools, inspiring nearly 10,000 students to actively participate in sports.
As an approved charity in Hong Kong, KTSI is committed to building a mutifaceted learning platform to enhance public sports and health knowledge through creative, interactive, and fun approaches. While our current programmes already covers various sports experiences, we look forward to collaborating with more partners to bring even more sports activities to everyone, creating a vibrant community together.
