DESCRIPTION:Martial Arts Space 2026: The 6th Greater Bay Area Martial Arts Scholar ChampionshipTai Chi Good for Health Workshop \n\n\n\nJointly organized by Hong Kong Tai Chi Youth Charitable Foundation and Kai Tak Sports Initiative\, and sponsored by HSBC\, Martial Arts Space 2026 – The 6th Greater Bay Area Martial Arts Scholar Championship will be held on 1-2 August\, 2026 at Kai Tak Sports Park. \n\n\n\nThe event integrates martial arts competitions\, wellness experiences\, and cultural exchange elements\, aiming to promote the development of a ‘Cultural Bay Area’ and a ‘Healthy Bay Area’\, while creating a vibrant martial arts celebration that combines heritage\, innovation\, and vitality. \n\n\n\nTo promote Tai Chi within the community\, a series of ‘Baduanjin’ and ‘Eight Methods Five Steps’ workshops will be held from April to July\, inviting the public to experience the joy of Tai Chi and wellness practices\, strengthen physical functions\, and enhance physical and mental well-being. \n\n\n\nProgramme Details of First SessionDate: 27 April\, 2026 (Monday)Time: 12:30pm – 1:45pmVenue: Green Room\, Floor 1M\, Kai Tak ArenaEnrolment Fee: HK$50 per person \n\n\n\nContent:Eight Methods Five Steps – An introductory of Tai Chi with fundamental movements\, simple and easy to learnBaduanjin – A classic health-preserving Qigong practice consisting of eight movements\, gentle and soothing\, suitable for all ages \n\n\n\n(Limited seats available on a first-come\, first-served basis)
